He has over twenty years of experience in the IT industry, and over fifteen years of business intelligence experience. He undertakes a variety of challenging roles in the Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing area.

The Experience

Colin has a track record of creating innovative, cost-effective and successful solutions for organisations that provide positive business benefits. His experience includes systems development, project management, bid management, training and various technical roles covering skills transfer consultancy, installation and configuration of business intelligence environments, programming, teaching courses, sales support work and hot-line customer support. He has experience with most industry sectors, especially banking and insurance, retail, government, telecommunications and pharmaceuticals organisations.

Colin has worked on multiple sites with the latest SAS technologies, designing implementing and configuring SAS9 servers for business intelligence environments.

A key strength is his ability to communicate well across all levels in an organisation, both within a company and externally to customers and partners. This includes presenting over twenty papers at conferences in New Zealand, Europe and the US. He is a good team player, who is dependable, and has a ‘can do’ and ‘make it happen’ attitude to make sure the job gets done.
