Mark has exceptional technical and intellectual abilities to quickly, effectively and reliably think through all issues, and find a quality solution to problems. Mark has worked in the IT industry for over twenty years. He has experience in a variety of technical roles including programmer, analyst, trainer, technical support consultant, and project team leader.
He has also managed a team of technical and professional services consultants at SAS Institute (NZ) Ltd.

He has designed and implemented many business intelligence applications, data management systems and reporting tools. He has worked on multi-tier data warehousing and distributed-platform exploitation systems, and is familiar with many operating system environments. He has done work for organisations in a range of industries including government departments, other state sector organisations, banking and telecommunications.
Mark has helped manage and maintain ETL processes for the IAP (Ministry of Social Development data warehouse), and helped enhance the scope of web-based reporting from that platform. This has included the implementation of a java-based, secure information delivery portal to data in the IAP data warehouse. Mark has excellent communication skills. He has written and presented papers at domestic and international conferences. He is also skilled at problem resolution and solution design. |
