Demystifying data management: data lakes, warehouses and vaults

Date: Tuesday 27th August 2019
4:30pm – 7pm

Location: Venue TBC, Wellington

Cost: FREE

In the good old days, things were pretty clear: we had Data Warehouses and everyone knew what to expect of them. These days things have got more complicated – we still have the Data Warehouses, but there are also Data Lakes and even Data Vaults and many people are asking how they differ and what is the best use for each.

In this presentation we will provide clear answers to those questions and advice on how to avoid ending up with a Data Swamp!

This presentation is not about right or wrong. In the difficult world of data management, it provides clarification for the avoidance of disappointment and false expectations.
